I learn more and more about the situation in Peru with the Indian protestors being killed by the Peruvian military and Alan Garcia, the President of Peru.  I have to back track about what I said about Obama Administration. I said that his Administration backed it. It is not clear so far whether the U.S. went along, supports it or does not support the North American Free Trade Agreement with Peru because this agreement was initiated and signed by George Bush’s Administration.  I read from the Office of US Trade Representative – Office of the President that the United States and Peru signed the United States-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement (PTPA) on April 12, 2006. Peru’s Congress ratified the Agreement in June 2006 and a protocol of amendment in June 2007. On December 14, 2007, President Bush signed into law the PTPA Implementation Act which approved the PTPA. The PTPA entered into force on February 1, 2009. I shall see about it and find out more.

Nevertheless, it must be stopped by renegotiating the agreement or whatever needs to be done this agreement with Peru.
